You simply have to adore a beautiful little game like 'Tedium - The Generic Space Survival Game' made by Squeemish. It's a simple affair of having to survive as long as you can while an increasing number of enemies is seeking to destroy your spacecraft.
Apart from your two cannons with limited range you can also make use of three bombs which come in very handy in case you find yourself surrounded.
Enemy variety and special powerups would have made the hunt for the highscore less repetitive, yet the level of polish and graphical detail make Tedium a fun way to kill a few minutes. I'm sure we will see some interesting games from creator Squeemish in the future, he's one to look out for!
